The home remodel process

home remodel Process

The word remodel can bring with it all kinds of emotions. It can bring up good memories and thoughts of possibility. It can also bring up dread and feelings of overwhelm. I get it! I have worked with homeowners on both sides of the spectrum.

I am here to walk through the process with you and give you the confidence

Phase 1

“Get to Know You” phase. This is when we meet and walk through your dreams and desires for the space. I measure and collect pictures of the space to create floor plans, or mood boards, and start creating a vision for your new space. I prepare a proposal of the design hours needed for me to assist you in the creation and development of your new space. Once presented, signed off on and initial deposit is collected, the design fun begins.

Phase 2

I get to work creating floor plans, collecting product selections and creating mood boards to show you my vision for your new space(s). I can also make suggestions of a contractor/trades person(s) for the project if needed.

Phase 3

I present my designs to you for approval. Once approved I create an invoice and the deposit collected. I then begin making purchases. Approved designs are shared with the contractor for final construction numbers and approval.  This is also when you would start packing accessories and personal items away. Moving any furniture in a space or purging and packing items away for the duration of the construction.

Phase 4

Thoughout the duration of the project, I track all purchased products and keep you updated on deliveries. I Coordinate with the contractor on all the construction and installations. Once completed, we do a final walk-through of the updates and take pictures of your new designed space.
